Membership and banquet forms to come

Dues increase, banquet fee information available

Official forms for MCMA membership and banquet notification will be available in early January, 2009. Dues for 2008-09 MCMA membership will be $150 per organization. This reflects an increase of $25 confirmed at the Fall 2008 business meeting. 2009 MCMA Conference introduces innovative "track" system for speaker sessions

Missouri College Media Association 2009 Conference attendees will be able to choose speaker sessions from among six, streamlined categories of interest, or "tracks." Each track includes four presentations by leaders in each respective sub-section of journalism.

MCMA is proud to announce its new 2009 Keynote Speaker, Margaret Wolf Freivogel. Freivogel is a veteran journalist, as well as the founder and Editor of the St. Louis Beacon, one of Missouri's newest and most successful online-only news websites. Freivogel will speak to her extensive experience as a print and online journalist, and "how the most valuable lessons sometimes spring from the most unlikely circumstances.
