Summer Meeting Invitation

Hello MCMA,
I hope you're all enjoying a summer break/job/classes. I've been working on updating our contact list, so if your organization has elected a new editor, please send his or her information to the Yahoo! email account (mcma_online@yahoo.com). If you are still receiving MCMA emails and are no longer an MCMA rep or editor, let me know so I can take you off the list.
Soon Jerome (secretary) and I will meet with several advisers and Missouri Press Association members to discuss MCMA's constitution, awards process, the organization's goals and problem areas. We will vote on any constitutional amendments at the fall business meeting. By holding a summer session, we hope to improve organization and effectiveness of the fall meeting as well as this year's events.
Interested members and advisers are invited to attend, but the summer meeting is NOT mandatory. We will meet on Friday, July 22 in Columbia. Please let me know by Friday, July 8 if you plan to join us. I understand the limitations set by gas prices and regular work/class/vacation schedules, so I invite everyone who can't make it to email all ideas, questions and concerns regarding MCMA. We will discuss these points during the meeting.
As always, any questions/comments/concerns can be directed to the email account, which we check daily. Have a safe, enjoyable 4th of July!
