Book hotel rooms ASAP!

Hi Everyone,
I checked with the hotel today and found out that
they've received very few hotel reservations. The
contract deadline is March 7, as I indicated in an
email last week, but we were able to get them to push
it back to March 15. Please take advantage of this
opportunity and make your school's hotel registration
asap.
You can call the central reservations office at
1-888-627-7064 or the hotel reservations office at
1-800-822-3535. Again, rooms are $89/night.
For those who are wondering, we're holding workshops
in the Westport Sheraton Plaza Hotel conference
center, while the rooms are actually in the Chalet
facility. It's all the same hotel complex, but some
people familiar with the area have asked. Just an FYI;
don't let it confuse you:)
Out of towners will probably want to reserve rooms for
both Friday and Saturday nights, if possible. 'Of the
Year' interviews will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, April
7. The convention's continental breakfast will begin
at 7 a.m. on Saturday morning, followed by workshops
starting at 9 a.m. The awards banquet begins at 6
p.m. on Saturday night and usually lasts several
hours. Those from the St. Louis area might want to
consider booking hotel rooms for at least Saturday
night, too, as we will have a cash bar and want those
of legal age to drink responsibly.
I've only received a few banquet confirmations. Just a
reminder - your lists of attendees and checks are due
by March 27, so please get that info sent out as soon
as possible.
This time of year usually brings crazy weather, Spring
colds, office drama, school burnout and all that other
good stuff. Take care of yourselves. As always, let us
know if you have questions or concerns!
