Dear Missouri College Media Association Members,

The first month of the decade has passed, and soon, another MCMA spring convention will take place. The two-day conference, ceremony and networking opportunity for all dues-paying newspapers and yearbooks has been scheduled for April 9-10 (the weekend after Easter).

I would like to thank Saint Louis University's The University News for hosting the 2009 convention in St. Louis, Mo. Their hard work and dedication needs to be recognized for a wonderful event.

This academic year's MCMA convention will be held in Lee's Summit, Mo. on the Summit Center of the University of Central Missouri with assistance from The Muleskinner. As a save-the-date reminder, an edition of this newsletter will be distributed on the first of every month leading up to the big weekend.

We hope to make this another exciting and enjoyable MCMA convention that can be useful to all members who will attend.

If there are any questions, ideas or concerns, you may contact 2010 MCMA President Nate Taylor at natet87@yahoo.com. For urgent inquiries, call (816) 824-6964.
